These Self Driving Cars Will Hit The Market Soon

I’m sure you’ve seen the headlines and debates about self-driving cars – how soon they’ll be technologically feasible and legal. Well, tech companies are spending billions and experimenting with systems that let cars drive themselves without human intervention and you don’t have to wait for them. Unfortunately today’s cars can’t fully drive themselves – you’ll need to remain attentive at all times, and most require you to hold the steering wheel – but many of them have features that make them safer and easier to drive. We’ll discuss their price, the self-driving features in detail, other amenities, notable owners, and more. Most of these cars have adaptive cruise control, which maintains a minimum distance between you and the car in front as it slows down and speeds up; automatic emergency braking, which can automatically apply the brakes to prevent or mitigate a collision; blind-spot monitoring, which uses radar to prevent you from changing lanes into another vehicle; a lane-departure warning; and lane-keeping assistance, which helps the car stay in its lane. Sounds confusing right? Well it’s supposed to make things simple for you but they are not that simple to build! We’ll explain why.
