Celebrities With The Most Expensive McLarens
These celebs cruise the streets of LA and the UK with the most expensive McLarens money can buy. We’ve got entry level McLarens driven by an uber handsome soccer superstar (okay, pretty obvious we’re talking about David Beckham here), we’ve got a super-decent supercar driven by a very talented and very angry chef (he’s thrown a lot of raw chicken at people).
People who make music together seem to like to shop at the same car dealerships as well. Beyonce, The Weeknd, and Kanye West have all bought McLarens. The Tiffany spokeswoman bought a Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR, The Weeknd a 1.2M P1, and Ye got himself the SLR Stirling Moss Edition. We like Kanye’s the best because it’s got no windscreen – we didn’t even know that was legal!
Then there’s the upper echelon creme de la creme collectors who have 10-million-dollar-plus McLarens. One is now the world’s richest man (who’s actually crashed one). One was one of the late night kings of the 1990’s. One is a fashion magnate who helps everyone who wears his clothes move up to preppy class.
McLarens make regular people feel like superstars, so imagine how they make superstars feel! The cars themselves hold a lot of New Zealand heritage in them, as their faces are designed to resemble the countries’ national bird – the kiwi bird, and the company’s symbol is that of a boomerang.
